Avon Nail polish haul/review =)

Hi there my lovelies,

I hope you are well as you read this =) So a few weeks ago I bought some stuff from Avon and it included some nail polishes as I wanted to see what the quality of them was =)

And to my surprise I was actually quiet impressed..... Now the stigma that the brand Avon gets is that its an "old ladies" brand, and as I have just recently found out it most definitely isn't.

Some of the makeup and skincare is very much up there with department store quality. But that's a whole different post I think...... So I had bought about 4 different nail polish colours........ They were about $6.99 each was more then I would normally pay for a nail polish because I'm a cheap person haha joking lol but seriously who doesnt love a great bargin!!

1. Violetta Sparkle

Now when I first got this one out of the box I instantly fell in love because it was a beautiful dark purple with fine gold and holographic glitters throughout and honestly the above photos don't do this any justice when it comes to showing the colour...... but unfortunately that's where the raving ends for this colour =( as much as I hate to give anyone or anything a negative review I have to admit that I didn't like how this applied or wore on my nails at all =( the above swatch is 2 coats and I started to chip off after only 2 days =(

2. Sequined Turquoise

So when I saw this colour in the catalogue this turquoise polish was actually the 1 that made me want to buy the nail polishes hehe I was totally in love as I like turquoise anyways =) Now I have to admit that I wasn't too impressed when I pulled this out of the box =( It just wasn't what I imagined when I ordered it in the catalogue, its a turquoise polish with silver glitter haha to be blunt that's exactly how I would put it. Although total opposite feeling as compared to the Violetta Sparkles colour! I was so impressed with the way that this applied and how opaque the colour was =) thumbs up definitely with this one lol the above swatch was with 2 coats.

3. Cleaming Gold

4. Mercury Metal

Now these last 2 were just normal for me really...... because they did kind of have a metallic sort of look it was kind of hard to get a streak free finish :/ I wasn't too much phased by them at.

So I guess its safe to say that I do feel I kind of wasted a little bit of money on these polishes although if anybody was to ask if I would buy them again..... I would have to say basically the only 1 that I would buy would be the Sequined Turquoise...... Only because I like the way it has worn as well as the colour pay off and opaqueness (<---- is that a word? lol)

Hope you have a lovely day, night, afternoon or morning wherever you may be in the world =)

Peace Love n Beauty Nesiangurrl xx
